Welcome to Memoirs: Episode IV - A New Hope. In a Galaxy far far away......I'm Kym, 35 and living my new life after a brain tumour and the associated side effects of brain injury. I decided to start a blog in July 2019 exactly 1 year to the day that my Brain Tumour was discovered. The blog name...? Well... George Lucas didn't start his Star Wars saga until half way through and lets face it episodes 1-3... pretty awful... My first few 'episodes' after my diagnosis and first brain surgery were pretty awful too so why not start on the now and work backwards when I am ready to reflect.This is my very first blog and a very passion filled project. My life does seem to be a cataclysm of exciting achievements, napping and embarrassing events which, I am certain, if I add enough punctuation will provide a tale of life with brain injury, life after a brain tumour and will hopefully be someone else's survival guide one day. ...The force is strong with this one...
